Pinhooking result of the morning goes to Church Farm & Horse Park Stud

Tattersalls October Book 2, Day 3

Lot 1113: top pinhooking hit this morning for Church Farm & Horse Park Stud – this No Nay Never colt consigned by the team makes 360,000gns having been bought as a foal at the Tattersalls December Sale for 110,000gns.

John Cullinan, who was standing with Roger Marley in the gangway to watch the horse sell, said: “It was great, we are having and up and down week so that was a good result. He is a lovely horse – we loved him here in December, he is a young May foal, but is No Nay Never out of a Galileo mare. He is a fantastic walker, has a great attitude and the sire has had an amazing year. The whole way through the year, I always thought he was our banker.”

The colt was bred by Charlie Brooks out of Bright Sapphire, already the dam of six winners, including Wall Of Fire (Canford Cliffs), winner of the Herbert Power Stakes (G2) at Caulfield and the Geoffrey Freer Stakes (G3).

Her two-year-old of this year Attaj (Caravaggio), who is owned by HRH Prince Faisal Bin Khaled and trained by William Haggas, was second in an early October Newmarket maiden on his second career start and he is entered this weekend.
