Half-sister to Gale Force Ten wins the Listed Upavon Stakes

THE well-bred Rousay won the British Stallion Studs EBF Upavon Fillies  Stakes (L) for breeder Stowell Hill Stud, trainer Richard Hannon and owner the Pall Mall Partners and Mrs RJ McCreery, wife of the late Bob McCreery of Stowell Hill.

The three-year-old filly by Muhaarar is out of Ronaldsay (Kirkwall) and so a three-quarters sibling to the Group 3 winner and Group 1 Irish 2,000 Guineas runner-up Gale Force Ten (Oasis Dream) – Muhaarar also being  a son of Oasis Dream.

Grand-dam Crackling is a half-sister to (Electric) to champion juvenile Bianca Nera (Salse) and the Group 1 runner-up Hotelgenie Dot Com (Selkirk), the dam of the Fillies’ Mile winner Simply Perfect (Danehill).

Ronaldsay had a filly by Time Test in 2021, and a colt by Bated Breath this spring.
